A hero is someone looked up to. Someone who does things the way they should be done. A hero is a person who, when bad things happen, pushes forward, through the hard times. A hero often sees more hard times than others. But, with steadfast dedication, grows from the challenge.
Heroes stand up for what is right. Even though it may be arduous. Heroes give us all an example of, with a little effort, what we could be. Heroes give us hope. Not only for a brighter tomorrow, but for a brighter today as well.

Chapter OneThe wind drifted through the trees. The sun shown brightly off the snow covered mountainside to the west. Though the tempurature in the tiny camp hinted of coming summer, winter still reigned on that mountain. As it had for eons. I closed my eyes and let the sun warm me. I could never happier than when camped in the mountains. There were times when I wouldn't go back to the village for weeks at a time.
